Licensed Nursing Home Administrator

The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) / Executive Director is responsible for operations of the skilled nursing facility in accordance with current federal, state (New England, Rhode Island, or Connecticut), and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
Licensed Nursing Home Administrator
Strategic Care Solutions is seeking a full-time and detail-oriented Nursing Home Administrator for immediate hire. The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) / Executive Director is responsible for operations of the skilled nursing facility in accordance with current federal, state (New England, Rhode Island, or Connecticut), and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee day to day operations of the facility
- Ensure conformance with the annual budget
- Fiscal management through census development, cost controls, and stringent receivable collection.
- Participate in marketing activities while co-developing and implementing a marketing plan that achieves the financial goals and maintains high occupancy and premium case-mix through marketing strategies.
- Provide a positive work environment for staff.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff.
Additional qualifications:
- Experience as Executive Director in a skilled nursing facility
- Administrator’s license in the state of New England, Rhode Island OR Connecticut is required
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
Clinical Nurse Consultant
Join our Clinical Operations team as a Nurse Consultant and be an integral part of the clinical intervention team. You’ll travel to skilled nursing centers, assisted living facilities, and other locations to improve the care delivery processes for our clients. This individual will provide nurse education, policy recommendations and regulatory monitoring. This will include performing systems and process assessments, designing new systems and processes, creating implementation plans, and teaching/mentoring nursing center personnel.
Clinical Nurse Consultant
Join our Clinical Operations team as a Nurse Consultant and be an integral part of the clinical intervention team. You’ll travel to skilled nursing centers, assisted living facilities, and other locations to improve the care delivery processes for our clients. This individual will provide nurse education, policy recommendations and regulatory monitoring. This will include performing systems and process assessments, designing new systems and processes, creating implementation plans, and teaching/mentoring nursing center personnel. This is a Monday to Friday work week. Some of the additional responsibilities are as follows:
- Evaluates completion of MDS to ensure state documentation and transmission are working efficiently.
- Monitors the Quality Improvement process and participates in the Pre-Survey process and makes recommendations.
- Advises client nursing administration to ensure compliance to staffing budgets and regulations. Reviews staffing levels relative to standards of care, and makes appropriate recommendations as needed.
- Participates in hiring, orientation, training, and on-going support of center nurse management staff.
- Supports clients during regulatory surveys. Helps design, review, and monitor outcomes of plans of correction.
Experience:
- Current RN license required
- Long term care experience required (3 years)
- Covid-19 vaccination required to protect the health and safety of patients, residents, employees, family members and the communities we serve

Clinical Reimbursement – MMQ Consultant
Position: Per Diem Position

COVID 19 vaccination or agreement to vaccinate is required for job offer.
Requirements:
- Current New England nursing license in good standing
- Minimum 5 years of successful MMQ Experience- recent in Skilled Nursing Facility/TCU /Sub-acute/Post-Acute care setting.
- Extensive Knowledge of the MMQ process.
- MDS experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices and procedures in long -term care and great knowledge of RAI manual.
- Excellent knowledge of Medicaid Regulations and scoring criteria and required supporting documentation.
- Excellent knowledge of MMQ Appeal process.
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID 19 no later than 10/10/21.
- Must be willing to travel
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accepts job assignments in different facilities throughout the state – some work can be completed remotely.
- Responsible for the accurate scheduling, completion of Admission/ Conversion MMQs and Turnaround MMQs according to the MMQ guidelines.
- Participate in the development of individualized resident care plans in accordance with the RAI manual, MMQ guidelines and CMS regulations.
- Monitors all clinical documentation for accuracy and compliance, reports findings to the facility leadership and the Director of Clinical Reimbursement. Provides education to staff based on findings.
- Provide ongoing MMQ in-service training to staff and the interdisciplinary team at the assigned facility to ensure compliance.
- Maintains good relationships with the clients.
- Work efficiently and effectively.
